Dead Space Remake Nodes

It would be great if the excess nodes you accumulate after upgrading suit and all weapons could be used for a unique suit. I’ve played through multiple times and have accumulated nodes with no purpose. Anyone else have this thought? Maybe the next game is the series will allow for their use? This is a great game. Working through it in Impossible Mode but not very hopeful with my lack of skills! lol!
