DeadSpace 2023 mouse/camera slew problems
Bought DeadSpace 2023 on Steam.
After installing game starts and runs fine, but as soon as the intro ends and direct player control begins the camera looks straight down. I can mouselook, but it always slews back straight down.
Have re-installed completely from Steam
Have gone into control customization and disabled all controller inputs in the first column.
Have disabled all the steam inputs it is possible to disable.
No other USB devices on the system aside from keyboard/mouse
Ran all Windows updates and rebooted.
Updated to latest GPU drivers.
Ended up digging deeper into the machine configuration and found that the vjoy device driver was installed and was uncalibrated.
Calibrated the vjoy device and no more camera skew.
