Deadspace crashes on Xbox

I have an Xbox series x, and when playing deadspace remastered it will crash every few minutes. I rarely get more than half an hour of gameplay between crashes. It's still playable, but highly annoying, especially since when it crashes things change when I get back to that spot. Different monsters spawn (or don't) than what was there just before the crash. This is the only game I have this problem with, and it still does it even after uninstall and reinstall.

    HI @butterbean9

To check are you playing on the console's internal storage or an external storage?

If you are on the console's internal storage can we try the following?

    • Quit the game and other running apps from Quick Resume (For Series X|S consoles)
    • Remove any connected device, or additional USB's from the console then restart the Xbox and check
    • Check for updates
    • Persistent Storage
      • Go to settings > Select Device & Connections > Then Blue-Ray
      • Select Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage
    • Alternate Mac:
      • Go to settings > Select General  > Then Network settings
      • Go to advanced settings > Alternate Mac address > Select clear
      • Select restart

It's internal storage, and we went through and tried all of this and it's still happening.

    Hey @butterbean9

Thanks for trying those steps, to check do you have any other games saved in the Quick Resume tab? If not, are you possibly on an insider build of Xbox OS?

  • No other games in quick resume, an no, not an insider build of the OS

    Hi @butterbean9

Thanks for the update, to have you tried playing on a new save to see if this continues?

If so, would it be possible to test on another account (or guest account)?
