Game glitch skips menus - Can only start new games

Right now, it seems like the game only starts 50% of the time, and when it does, I get to the "Press Any Key to Continue" screen just fine. But when I tap a key, it shoots through the following serie...

    Hi jacksigler!

    Okay let's see if we can fix this issue.

    At first, please get sure that you are using the latest version of your graphic card drivers. Disable all graphic enhancements in your graphic card control panel. This issue could related to your resolution but as far as I understand you are not able to access the graphic menu in game?

    You should try to repair the installation of Dead Space III. Open your Origin (download and install the latest version of Origin at www.origin.com/download); go to "My Games" -> rightclick on DSIII and choose "Repair Install".

    What kind of keyboard you are using? If it's a keyboard with any additional driver support (like a gaming keyboard), please reinstall all driver of your gaming device.

I tried all of your suggestions last night, to no avail. BUT I then restarted my computer and poof, it works. Go figure. Kind of a dumb problem and dumber solution! But, it works!

Might be that the workaround helped or .....that just something else killed that PC-Gremlin. In any case, have fun with Deadspace!
