Impossible Achievement on Hard Mode Completion?

Not sure what led to it or if it's been patched, but on my first play through of the game on steam, I played impossible. Accidentally died to the nuke on chapter 9 if that's relevant. Downgraded my save to hard, finished it, got the impossible achievement. Not sure if it's applying to all lowered saves or just a bug with mine.
