In hydroponics, game "crashed" to "Ishimura ground team" screen

I was on floor 2 of hydroponics after just having gotten there the first time, and I was trying to get to the RIG that is in that area. I entered a room that had a wheezer in it, injected it, turned around and switched my weapon to kill an enemy that appeared and suddenly my screen went completely blank. After a few seconds this screen appeared and didn't go away until I used task manager to end the game. It took no inputs, it just sat there spinning and there was no indication that the game crashed or was going to do anything for several minutes. Unfortunately I don't have video of it actually entering that state but it just kinda showed up out of nowhere without me interacting with anything in the environment.
