Invalid license. Error code = Missing DLL d3dx9_43.dll Error 0x00005.

I even checked system32 and there was a file called d3dx9_43.dll in all caps like this: D3DX9_43.dll

  • Hello, I managed to fix this problem by just extracting all the .rar archives from the directx folder and placing them inside C:\Windows\SysWow64. Thank you for the answer anyways though.

  • I renamed the file name in lower caps but I still get the same error. I can't even delete it as it says that it is in use by NVIDIA Capture Server.

Edit: For some reason I could delete it and the I dragged and dropped the file from a .rar archive in the directx redist folder to system32 and I then opened it again and got the same message.

@WhatD4DogDoing Hey, you don't really want to mess around with these files manually. What may help is to run the DXSETUP executable which should be located at \Origin Games\Dead Space 3\__Installer\directx\redist

Perhaps running it as admin will help?

@WhatD4DogDoing Fair enough, thank for the update. 🙂 We generally want to keep folks from poking around in the Windows folders, but if you've sorted things out, then great!

  • Tried downloading Dragon Age II onto my new laptop and it won't run, same error code as above. Please help.
