Yes, I'm afraid this is another post about vanishing Scavenger Bots.
Playing through the game for the second time on New Game +, don't know exactly when/where it happened, after playing for a bit I went to use my Scavenger bots, and there were only 2 (I had 3), I just assumed it was out scavenging - only it never showed up, even after going to the weapons bench.
A quick search on google showed me this is not a rare glitch, it seems to be happening to countless people.
This is not good enough, EA/Visceral.
In Dead Space 2 I had a special version fo the Contact Beam weapon I got through a promotional offer, until it decided to disappear from my safe for no reason whatsoever. i complained about that on EA's boards and nothing was ever done. As far as I'm concerned that's a clear case of a defective product, but I let it go. I'm not letting it go with this one; patch it, ASAP, too many people are having this problem - some have even lost all 3 bots, meaning this glitch is preventing people from using a major feature of the game. I suspect reluctance to do anything about it because there's a micro-transaction dlc for scavenger bots that would "solve" the problem if people paid for it - we should not have to pay extra for something that should be included in the game. this is false advertising at best, a clear con at worst.
Do something about it.
