Press Any Key To Continue - Nothing is happening!

Hi i've just downloaded dead space 2. initially i had the release date launch failure, and after troubleshooting on this thread, replaced the launcher with the Dead Space 2 (World Wide Release).  ...

So you don`t have the game in your Origin library? Does Dead Space 2 in activated on your EA Account?

got the game on steam, stuck at exact same stage. Apparently the game doesn't recognize me using a keyboard (though i can still go alt-F4 or alt-tab)
