Community Manager@TasstySnaxx Hey there, Are you downloading the game through the EA App, or another launcher? With a PC, there are going to be a few reasons that error pops up. You shouldn't have to do that every time you want to play.
Can you send me the steps you have done? I don't want to go through all the I've done those already you know?
I am getting this error from DVD Install.
The EA App doesn't support legacy licenses so the only way to get this error from DVD Install.
The pinned deadspace2.exe link is dead. Where do I download this fixed deadspace2.exe?
Changed the date to year 2011. then reverted date back and it works fine for me. Guess I didn't need special .exe anyway. Why keep links pinned to forums that misinform?

Community Manager@flagrant99 I am glad to see that you were able to get that resolved. I took care of the pinned post so that should not be an issue any longer. With the EA App, and even with Origin, there were many version updates so most physical copies of older games no longer really work like they used to.
I also had to remove the link you posted as it is technically not officially released by EA so it cannot be used as a way to download the exe file.
