@IAL_69 Thanks! Taking a look at the file. When you launch the game, does it always give a generic error that says failed to launch? Do you get any other errors?

    It always say the same message (see file ("lancement jeu")
    Always this message and nothing more.

    @IAL_69 Thank you! When you originally got the game, where did you purchase the game from? I do not see any subscriptions, but I do not see a purchase log. Was this from another retailer originally?

    I bought it in a MICROMANIA when it came out.
    I have a PHYSICAL version of the game.

    @IAL_69 Are you using the physical disc to play or are you launching from EA app? Does that cd still have the code by chance?

    I am trying to launch the game from the EA app.
    Yes, I still have the dsic (both of them) the box and the code.
    The code is also registered on EA app. It's the same.

    @IAL_69 Appreciate the info. I am looking into a few things. When you register the code if you have it on the EA app, you don't actually need discs. The game should be digital. If you were to uninstall it, do you see it in your library? Does it show as downloadable, or purchaseable?

    Yes, when it's uninstall, I can see it in my library. (See attachement file "1")
    It show as " downloadable " (See attachement file " 2 ")
    I install it via the digital version, not the disc.

    I still have this problem, it's still impossible for me to play this damn game.

    I thank you because you will look, the XP is also to motivate you, not to mean that the problem is solved.
    I'm still waiting ( 2 weeks and still NO help.)

    @IAL_69 Hey, so no there isn't at the moment. What i need to do on my end i cannot in the system for some reason so i am trying to figure that one out.

    In the meantime, i want to ask, were the following steps completed? Because that error is so generic, it could be the act end, or the PC.

    • EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
    • EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)
    • End EA_backgroundservices within the Task Manager

    Delete EA License Files:

    • Make sure the EA app is closed.
    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    • Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER
    • Enable View Hidden Files and Folders
    • Delete all files in the "License" folder.

    Please clear your temp files:

    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time
    • Into the new window, type or copy & paste: "%temp%" (Without the quotes.) > hit "ENTER"
    • Your Windows Explorer should have brought you to the "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Local\Temp" folder. > Delete all files and folders in it.
    • (If some files or folders can't be deleted, reboot and try again.)

    Yes, all these steps have been completed before contacting you.


    The error message say it clear "there is a probleme on your side", I think it a problem with the licence and your server don't let me launch the game.

    Problem with the license. Someone on your side need to click and said that I own the game legally so I can launch it.
    The fact that my game is already in my library means that it have been actived many years ago with an old EA system (before EA app and before Origin).
    Please, activate my license on your side. What kind of proof do you need ?

    @IAL_69 You do own the game i can see it. We dont activate licenses and that is not the actual issue. The error you are getting has nothing to do with the license linked to your account. At the moment i cannot make changes to the game. The system is being updated and no changes to this title can be made. That is what I am waiting on to get updated so i can take a look more into the game linked to the account. I am afraid that at the moment, we have to wait for an update on our end to keep looking at the account.

    Do you have any idea of the length of waiting time please? Will there be a solution one day ?
    In the meantime, I will take the liberty of replace the game executable to be able to enjoy my purchase. I hope you understand. Please escalate the issue and keep me informed...even if it takes 1 year, I want a solution please. Thank you for your work (You personally Shepard)
