Hi. This is now the fourth time I've had to contact EA about Dead Space 3. I now have a bug with the starting page. It checks for DLC content, and never stops. FIX IT! I am SO TIRED with these bugs!!!! HONESTLY!!!!!! Please EA. You are driving me insane.
I have played this on 3 different ps3 consoles, including the latest 500gb slim. 320 gb slim, and a 60 gb original. 3 different discs, 3 different usernames, all fail at one point or another
contacted EA again to follow up on an "incident' report. advisor transferred me to upper level advisor. see following.

You tranferred me to the next level. I was on hold for 97 minutes. Was tempted to take photo of phone. Tried playing for 6 hours yesterday. Save file destroyed. Magically changed from new game plus to regular game Progress at 96.5 percent. SAVE AND QUIT option has magically disappeared and been replaced with a QUIT only option with resets you back to your last save point. After the optional level on level 11 we played through level 13 and the progress saving never appeared. Of course when i used the quit option i was reset back to the beginning of 11. Tried the co op mission over and over for 6 hours. reset to not complete every time. Unfortunately I had copied the save to the flash drive before i noticed that it was no longer new game plus . I am about ready to give up. I don't even want to sell the game because I feel I will be stealing someones money. Too bad EA doesn't feel the same way.
This exact problem has happened to me twice. The only difference is it changed to a Pure Sirvival save file. The second time was the exactly as described by this poster.
Is anyone working on a solution to this and the bot problem? It's obviously the saving functions has something wrong with it, and nothing seems to be being down about this. Would you guys acknowledge us with an update?
