Strange artefacts when using AMD Fidelity FX

The issue only seems to occur when setting are on the ultra preset and Fidelity FX is enabled, the effects are extremely hard to screenshot due to the their sporadic behaviour. by spamming the screenshot button I managed to capture a few instances of them occurring. The artefacts flash rapidly appearing in random locations on the screen, from what I could tell it only seemed to happen after entering the shop in my case (this is also how I initially noticed it), but this could also be because of the lighter texture on the shop making the issue more noticeable. Additionally, after entering the graphics menu and changing some settings a few times (in order to test which setting may be causing this to happen), the issue seemed to occur with more instances across the screen. The following screenshots were taken in the security station within the medical area of the game: Shop was taken before changing settings repeatedly, and both Wall1 and Wall2 were taken after, also note that in these screenshots all of the square artefacts appear dark, but in reality they appear with varying opacity. Hi @plasticninjaguy

can we try the following steps and check if this continues?

    • Make sure the game is installed on an internal SSD (versus HDD or external SSD connected via USB)
    • Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
    • EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery
    • Repair Games (Go to My Collection > Select the tile Dots > Repair)
    • Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
    • Rolling back your GPU drivers to a previous version then test
    • Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game

    Thanks!

  • Sorry, forgot to mention that the issue only seems to appear on the "Balanced" setting for AMD Fidelity FX.
