Bought Dragon Age Origins through Steam, can't launch through EA play

Basically the title. When I try launching through Steam it crashes because of the memory leak issue which I haven't figured out how to fix.

Decided to try playing it through EA Play in hopes that something might be different. But it needs a cd key.

I own the game on Steam, but I can't find the key there, it doesn't show up no matter what I do. Am I just buggered or is there something I'm missing?

Do you use a Proxy or a VPN?

    If you are not sure:

    • Right click "Start" > Choose "Windows Power Shell (Administrator) or Terminal (Administrator).
    • Copy and paste: netsh winhttp show proxy into the Power Shell window > Press ENTER.
    • You should get a return of: "DirectAccses (No Proxyserver).
If there is a Proxy or VPN, deactivate it.

If that don't helps, preform an EA app recovery.

Click on the 3 lines at the top left of the EA app > Help > App Recovery.

If that still don't helps, contact EA directly and let them check your account status.

Then you should not need a CD key.

To to clarify some things up, the new EA PC client is named EA app.

EA Play is the subscription service of EA (EA Play and EA Play Pro.)

I assume when you say "can't launch through EA play" you actually mean you can't launce with EA app, is that correct?

    yeah, my bad.

And whenever I tried to launch it through the EA app, it wanted a CD key for the game to launch.
