Hello there, creating this post because I have issues with the DLCs Black Emporium and Legacy. Starting with Legacy, because it is the most important one: when examining the Griffin statue inside my home, a window pops, and I can select yes or no, but nothing is written inside of it. I tried going for "yes", and it started a quest, I suppose, for there was a cutscene with Hawke and Varric talking. My problem is here: there aren't any subtitles for the conversation, and when the dialogue wheel appears, there is only "(Missing paraphrase.)" written in place of the lines I am supposed to choose from. I can still see the diplomat, sarcastic or aggressive icons when hovering on the (Missing paraphrase.), but I don't know what I am saying until I clicked it.I play the game in original english version because I dislike the dubbing, and since English isn't my mother tongue I'd like to have the subtitles. For Black Emporium, same thing happens. I can examine a whole lot of stuff inside the Emporium, and each time an empty window pops up. There is no text where there should be some.Game version is 1.04, I believe it's the latest. I tried unistalling/reinstalling everything, to no avail. I checked to repair the install, Origin says no file is missing or corrupted and game is up to date. Anyone experiencing this or having a solution? Thank you.EDIT: After some playing today, I discovered that along with Black Emporium and Legacy, the quests with Sebastian are also bugged. No subtitles and (Missing paraphrase) instead of every line of dialogue. Any way to fix it?

I solved it! I uninstalled Dragon Age 2, then changed all the languages to English in the Origin client (both the software and the account language), and then reinstalled Dragon Age 2 and the DLCs. I had the Origin software in Italian but the game in English (including subtitles). Now it works fine.I had asked the question at the EA support but got a different answer which had nothing to do with the language settings, so perhaps they don't know about this.

Ok, I download Legacy from Bioware social site and now it works. Guess I shouldn't have bought legacy on Origin...

I had the exact same problem (only with german as the original software). Just in case anyone else encounters this: I downloaded my DLC from the website and installed them *again*. And the sound/voices were fine.My guess is that Origin doesn't understand that the game isn't played in the local language and tries to install the localized DLC, causing the bug/glitch/whatever.

Manual install works for me too.... Origin it's the problem then, funny Apparently Origin installation doesn't create the audio folder correctly placed ini.e. : -> Origins Games -> Dragon Age II -> addins -> da2_prc_eye -> module -> audio ( after this folder Origin doesn´t install all this content ) -> vo -> en-us -> facialanimations and vo. That's why we don't hear and see mouth movementHappens in many dlc folders... Sebastian quests, Mark of the Assasin, Legacy... (es version at least)It would be nice that someone fix that

As I said, I checked the integrity of the game, and it said nothing was missing or corrupted, I checked for an update, and it was up to date, I unistalled everything and reinstalled everything, DLC included, twice. It didn't solve anything.
When I am moving the party and the characters talk among them, the bubble appear with the text above their head. But no subtitles during dialogue cutscenes and no dialogue lines in the dialogue wheel.

I'm guessing from the expression "checked the integrity of the game" you're using a Steam install.

I refuse to use Steam for any game if I can possibly avoid it. Try uninstalling the Steam version and installing the EA/Origin one. Your product code is valid for both (plus all the DLC you've purchased), so there's no additional charge. Just keep you characters/saves when you do the uninstall.

Nope, the game is on Origin, and was from the start. Origin allows to "repair installation", if my memory is right, which is what I meant. DA2 isn't even available on Steam, they only have Origins, btw.

Never heard/seen this behaviour before, and I've installed from disc and Origin onto both Win7 and Win8 (multiple times. Long story...)

What mods? What do you mean? I haven't installed any mods up to now, if that was your question. I only have the clean versions of the game & DLC. I find it strange that all DLC are missing text, why would that be? I haven't found any solution no matter how long I looked. I think I'll start Legacy without subtitles nor dialogue options, and hope that there isn't much dialogue cutscenes in it... =/
EDIT: also, noticed that in the Achievement panel through the main menu, none of the DLC-related achievements have a description. They're just blank, with the normal shield picture.

I have the exact same issue. I play on Win8 (I HATE win8) and I bought a physical copy of DA2, but I bought Legacy on Origins. I do not know what to do about this bug ☹️

Ok, I download Legacy from Bioware social site and now it works. Guess I shouldn't have bought legacy on Origin...

I have the same problem with the dialogues. How did you re-install the DLC separately? I downloaded them from the old Bioware Social but when I launch the installer for any dlc it says that Dragon Age II is not installed (obviously it is - through Origin).
