DA:O Ultimate Edition Purchased from Steam, Awakening Not Working

So, the problem that I've run into is that I can not find Awakening at all, anywhere, in my game. It isn't listed in the Other Campaigns section, it isn't listed under DLC either.
All of the DLC content that's come with the game works, and it is registered under my EA account- the DLC is listed under my "registered game content" section on my EA profile, including the Awakening DLC. But, I can't find a way to access Awakening itself at all.
I google'd the problem and did some research, and came upon someseemingly helpful advice regarding the addins XML folder and the manifest, and what I noticed is that my XML files do not seem to have all the data in them. Here is a screen-capped picture of my "manifest" XML document:

All of the relevent information seems to be there.
But when I opened up my Addins XML file, located in my documents:

It's basically empty. I have not altered the Addins file in any way, shape or form. I've done nothing but open it and look at it.
So, what do I do? I've installed and uninstalled the game several times, yesterday was actually my third time re-installing it. The instructions I looked at that allowed me to discover the XML files was this thread here -> http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1677021
I haven't tried the pastebin solution, because I don't really understand his instructions for that.
