Does DA:I use Denuvo DRM? Because if it does, I want my money back, now. And my ssd to be replaced. Denuvo fries ssd's, because ssd's have limited write/rewrites, and Denuvo constantly decrypts/unencrypts data. Anyone know for sure?
While Denuvo constantly rewrites the exe, it does so in the RAM, not on the SSD. Windows doesn't allow open executables to be rewritten. Denuvo will not damage SSDs.
Yes it does use Denuvo.
But the rest of your statement is totally untrue.
1) Todays modern SSD's don't have this problem anymore. It has been prooved by several well known and respected labs.
2) Your whole OS and game does constantly write/rewrite to your HDD, so just another process who does can't be any problem.
Thanks. Reguardless, I've heard too many horror stories about Denuvo and won't play a game that uses it. I'm sure its too late for me to get a refund, but atleast I can still uninstall the game until they get rid of it.

@David Thanks for the information. Unfortunately I had it upon release so it's beyond my 24 hours. I'll settle for uninstalling at this point. Also, with over 50,000 people having this problem (problem with Denuvo, ie crashes, performance issues, and ssd failure), I'd say it's credible. Out of curiosity, Origin is a DRM. Why Denuvo?

Thats more clarification than I've gotten in the last 3 hours. Thanks for that. I wonder why the issues on PC. I have a i7 4930k, 32g ram, and a 780Ti. I get mostly 45 fps, but occasional drops to 15. If that Denuvo description is accurate, I don't see how it could affect performance. I'm a little upset now I really want to play this game.

Thanks Fred. So this means that while it does not damage ssd's, the constant rewrites from RAM are causing the performance issues?
Does DA:I (or goty) still use denuvo *? Or was it already removed?
I cant find any mention about DRM in store page but I doubt they would bother to list that info...
It was already few times on sale but was never going to pull trigger on it due to denuvo *, but now I would perhaps spent the money on it if denuvo is gone.
