Dragon Age Inquisition doesn't start?

The same problem for me - Dragon Age Inquisition has stopped starting since today after update of an "Origin" client. I'm very disappointed.

Finally figured out how to make the game work:

Launch Origin client, go to menu Origin - Application Settings - Origin In Game and remove check box "Enable Origin In Game". After it I was able to lanuch Dragon Age Inquisition easily.

That's a good thing to disable in any case (cause I'm pretty sure nobody needs that crappy "Origin In Game" feature anyway).

Im reading some of these messages and omg..

YES this game is not working for many people (m ostly of the nvidia community) I am in the same boat, but it works off and on..

YES this game is bugged and needs a lot of patches, But this is not the only game to have this issue before, I.E Diablo 3, did not work for thousands of people.. not just for 1 week, but for months before a fix came out. (i was one of these people) 

So NO i dont agree with the fact that people are stating this is the worst company ever, and they dont care about their buyers or what not. If they were so bad they wouldn't have produced 3 consecutive games of DA and 3 consecutive games of ME. This happens to some games and yes its frustrating, but telling a company they are the worst etc does not give them motivation to work harder for you.

So with that being said, please fix this issue EA as fast as you can. And I am eagerly waiting to play.

So far, nothing has worked for me.  Updated everything, disabled this and that.  The only thing i get is a black window that pops up.  The computer thinks it is in fullscreen mode and i cannot click anywhere until i alt+tab out of it.  Buddy of mine is an IT guy and he screwed around with my computer for awhile via remote.  couldn't find anything wrong with my system.  Tired of being tired.

I am in the exact same position as you!! This is ridiculous! I payed out the @$$ for this game, and it doesn't even work! I wanted to try Origin, but now I just might switch back to console gaming, because this is BS. No Origin support members have responded to either of my error reports, either!

This game doesn't even meet the requirements for a "Great Game Garauntee" refund since it isn't an EA game? That's what the program told me. It searched my game library for games that could get a refund, and said my only game, DA:I, is not qualified. WHAT?!

Apparently my drivers are 'up to date', and it still doesn't work.

How exactly did you manage that? I'm not too tech savvy, unfortunately.

I have AMD, so I went to the AMD Catalyst Control Center, and there aren't any options like NVIDIA has. Only two 3D options in gaming, and that's it. I set that to the lowest, and tried running the game again, and crashed before it could even launch! Please help if you can!
