Dragon Age Inquisition doesn't start?

@Moggythecat Hi,

Are you running Origin with Administrator rights? I would suggest doing so, just in case that there need to be any new folders created at the end of the Dragon Age Inquisition update process.

Let me know how you get on afterwards.

I am the administrator, but when I started it today, I am able to click the play button, but t also say "update available" and if you hit that link it says it is up to date

there is something strange going on. I ll try to play later on and let you know

I CAN'T PLAY !

Run as administrator, click play, game says update required, click update, game says you are up to date all set, click play, game says update required...

run update again,will see, lost faith

I copied over an older installation of the game to the new installed version

it ran the update as expected but than it went back into the loop, need update , up to date, need update

so I will de-install the game now in the hope the cloud save will no be lost so I can continue after the re-install, except the same looping will occur again, than I don't know

I cant press play button in the origins menu>my games, already 2 days long this problem exists. Please fix this.

Repair worked,

it messed up the saved gameplays and I lost 2 days of progress, but that's fine as long I can catch up and play again

Ok  the new update hit and now the game is broken i have tried every thing but the same error keeps happpening. i have installed every C++ version available. updated directx11 installed and uninstalled the game 3 times and repaired it 3 times nothing works at all this game simply just doesnt work at all video drivers are up to date and running in admin doesnt work at all this game just crashes before it even loads i have owned the game since it  came out and it worked fine then but what the * did you do ea
