Same over here!
Waited pretty long for this game, not to mention the money i spend! At least, i´m not the only one, so it´s not the problem of my PC. Let´s just hope that EA brings the necessary patch fast!

Hey guys,
I found a fix that worked for me. Hoping you some if you guys might be able to try it too.
I'm using a Surface Pro 2 with Intel HD graphics.
When I launched the game, it opened in a black box but crashed when it went full screen.
Here's the settings I tried that worked for me:
Control Panel > Intel HD Graphics > 3D > Changed "Conservative Morphological Anti-Aliasing" to "Override Application Settings". By default, this was turned off. "Enhance Application Settings" also seems to work but I do not understand the full technical differences.
Sorry if this has been posted already.

I am using a Alienware laptop, with intel HD graphics,
Letting you guys know this actually worked for me aswell... question is will i have to switch this back and forth everytime i play a different game?

Same with me: gets to the message about the saving game icon then just a cursor and a blank screen.
Customer service just sends me through all these silly steps that don't work when we all know it is something on their end that is screwed up.
I am going to request a refund and i suggest everyone else do the same. Never had a game gove me this much trouble. Poor programming and coding is the issue, not our caches.
My Arc and Steam games launch and play just fine and my Origin games play just fine EXCEPT Dragon Age:Inquisition whic means there is a problem with DAI and not our computers!
Request a refund and show them that this shoddy programming is unacceptable.
My Solution:
I had the same problem that the game stalled at the connection to the EA Servers (before the game menu is supposed to appear).
I turned Origin in offline mode (in Origin launcher). After that the game does not try to connect to the servers and it worked. Game menu showed up and it even runs a lot faster. Bad thing is you cannot import your keep saves or store the savegame in the keep. But well at least you can play it until the fix it.

I wish I could get the far. It just crashes a small black window like it can't open the game. Tested it on a different pc also with GTX series GPU (but a different series) and it works. I wonder if they even try to get it right at launch or just bank on using people as beta testers and patch it after the fact. In any case, for those of us who actually meet or exceed the system requirements and cannot get the game to launch, we need a patch. Someone in development or QA should definitely be fired. I only wish I could do it myself.

Just got off the phone with customer service after 3 chat sessions:
Turns out that if you don't have a quad core processor the game won't run (that is what they told me anyway...was thinking why couldn't it run on lower settings on a dual-core processor but i guess it's a no go)
So, there it is: might be why a lot of you are having issues too, dunno though.

8 cores here and no love...although I didn't have any reason to know or care about that before getting the game.
