I'm experiencing the same thing. I read that "some things can't be undone once you've finished the main-storyline" before I completed it, but I never thought that you can't talk to your companions anymore... I seriously hope this is some kind of bug and not really intended...

Same here on PS4 (Disc) ver 1.02.
I'll take another look the next time I boot it up to be sure, but I recall it seeming like Skyhold banter was mostly broken after the endgame reception, for both non-romanced and romanced followers alike. It was particularly jarring to have your romanced follower revert from intimate address to treating you like a complete stranger. Holy immersion breaking cold shoulders, Batman.
Same here, 1.03 (latest patch) only the one i romanced (Cassandra) did start talking about breaking skulls and asked if she could stay for 'Inquisition business' and then it was like all the other npc's in Skyhold 'hello' and then end of convo, a few of them i can still talk to, Morrigan and some other.
This is like really stupid imo.
I just finished the game today and had the same issue, as well as issues with loading and such. My Xbox 360 is rather old, and slow loading times are not unusual, but this was more like it just stopped loading after a certain point (tables not appearing in the main hall of Skyhold, NPCs and other environment things not appearing, etc). Traveling to a different location and then back to Skyhold again reverted loading to normal, but none of my companions would talk to me. I had a few brief dialogue options with Leliana, Josephine and Sera, but the rest just said one line about the new Divine and then proceeded to greet me as if we were strangers, and no dialogue options presented themselves (including Cassandra, whom I romanced). After the brief conversation with the characters I did have options with, they were similarly locked out. I do hope this is a bug that will be fixed soon, and not something intentional, because it's rather jarring to have all my companions be so silent and formal when I went to great pains to befriend them throughout the game.
- Anonymous11 years agoIm having the same issue and its really frustrating, got the new expantion hoping it will fix it, but no... Bioware didnt take any action to fix it yet? Interactions is one of the best things in the game, if it had an expasion pack with only new interactions I would gladly paid for it, take it off just because you finished the main quest makes no sense at all. No reply from Bioware about it?
