Game will not start
I have been trying for a couple of years to log into the game now without success. I have posted on here in the past and been unable to find a solution. I thought I would try again as I miss playing ...

I have been on chat to ea operators for two days, they had me do all sorts of fixes including a fix from an "expert".
My friend took the best part of 60 seconds, turns out my avast antivirus was blocking it, uninstalled and my game immediately worked. It was opening for 1s then closing, maybe try this 🙂 Hope you get a fix.

I have my antivirus disabled when I load Dragon Age so I do not think that is it but thank you
Just to be certain, would this solve the problem if it was Antivirus related?

Windows Defender Anti-virus doesn't usually cause issues with DAI. That has been mostly the realm of Avast, AVG and lately Malwarebytes.
As far as the output adapters goes, you need to either use the onboard screen, or use a HDMI/display port for output to an outside monitor or TV. You MUST use the standard video outputs instead of using an USB or USB-c cable so that the computer uses the proper display device. So if you are just using your main laptop screen, then you should go into Nvidia control panel, and find the game, and make sure the settings are to ONLY use your Nvidia graphics card and to use maximum quality for the game. Then you also need to double check all power settings so that the system doesn't default to Intel chip in an effort to "save energy" especially if you don't have the machine plugged in and are running off a battery. You see, many default settings are to use the lower power using intel chip for graphics if running off a battery so that you can use the system longer.....but then this causes games to crash cause they aren't supposed to be using the intel chip in the first place.
