That's strange since you're somewhere between minimum and recommended for specs. There is a framerate test built into the game you can run. I believe it's under the Extras menu.

That makes sense. Though I rest upon the assumption that my computer is within the bounds of normalcy and that the information not being shown is due to a glitch in the system, a result of my computer's custom origin, blocked by AVAST, or a non-legit copy of windows installed (custom computer store supplied/didnt find out till later).Given that I have not had any errors. And my system has performed well for many years, I just assume its a computer like all the others. With just some concealed information.

Well I have to admit this is extremely depressing. I've held off playing this game for almost a month now specifically due to poor performance on my machine that meets the recommended requirements, NOT just the minimum! Highly populated areas and more complex environments bring the game to a crawl even on low settings, and in fact graphics settings seem to have no effect on FPS at all. Has there been no official response or explanation? I'm also one of the people who had to turn off one of their cores to get past the main menu, but the most recent patch has fixed that at the very least. What is the official stand of Bioware on fixing the issue? Are this many people simply being considered anomalies or is there a response I haven't seen? If anyone could inform me that'd be great. I know it's too late for a refund, but I would at least like to know that this game will eventually be playable.

Okay just got done with NVIDIA support after a lovely 4 hours of troubleshooting. Basically they (3 NVIDIA technitians) all agree that my specs can run the game optimally however, the game developer has not optimized it for certain NVIDIA cards including the 750 Ti as well as others. They have reported the issue to Bioware/EA.In order to get this rectified, they recommended that I contact Bioware and alert them to the issue. I hope others who see this will do the same, the more pressure, the more they know that this is not an isolated issue.

Your CPU is below the minimum specs which I suspect is causing a massive bottleneck on the graphics engine.

CPU: AMD quad core CPU @ 2.5 GHz; Intel quad core CPU @ 2.0 GHz
System RAM: 4 GB
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 4870; NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
Graphics Memory: 512 MB
Hard Drive: 26 GB
DirectX: 10

My CPU is clocking @ 2.67GHz which is above the 2.0 Minimum
As for all the rest, I am above minimum specs

I am also getting low frames.

Cpu- FX 8350 4.2ghz
Gpu - AMD 295x2
8 gig ram
Windows 7 64bit home premium

No AA on and post processing set to low.

I average about 25fps on LOW.
and 17fps on ultra.

I have unistalled and reinstalled AMD drivers.

I really hope there will be a performance patch!

I have this same problem, though I don't know what my FPS is. Lowering the graphics settings helped a bit, but even at the LOW preset, everything's sluggish. I'm currently running HIGH or MEDIUM settings for each item. Will try lowering Terrain and Vegetation to LOW and see how it goes.

Have you tried the new Catalyst 14.11.2 drivers? Make sure you do a clean uninstall (use a driver cleaning tool) before installing the new drivers. They also support Mantle for DA:I which should give you a decent performance boost too.
