Getting VC++ runtime redistributable package error

THIS WORKED FOR ME! FREAKING FINALLY! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I've been trying to get this stupid game to work FOR WEEKS! and now it works! Thank you!

What if the 2010 one doesn't install??? 

This is what did it for me, I tried all ideas from the posts before, but lektok13's instructions were correct. Someone before had suggested copying the 2013 installer into the 2008 folder but you need to copy the 2010 installer. This a year after Dragon Age Inquisition came out and its still a problem. Bad show Origin. And I downloaded the trial too so this is already a strike against them before I pay them money.

ok finally got the game to install. 

1/ opened redist folder vc 2008 sp1 and deleted it.

2/opened redist folder vc 2010 copied it and moved it to 2008 folder.

3/ closed click install in origin and it worked

6 years later and still having the issue but this post fixed it, I found the folders they were talking about in the install folder "__Installer" then "vc".

Worked like a charm! Thank you!
