I'm having problems with my Xbox one version of dragon age it's a main quest story. I play through to where I have my first combat in the dessert at the watch tower. Once I finish that I get into the conversation sequence after I select my first comment it goes to Hawke and than it freezes either midway or the end of the wardens comments after hawke. Please helpAnd if your having the same issues hit the me too button so we can bring notice to this issue

Have the same issue. Surprised this wasn't caught by QA to be honest.You can get past it, however it's timing specific by pressing the (X) button, otherwise you're stuck in essentially a soft-lock.

yeah i was having the same problem , the whole quest is bugged to be honest but managed to get past that dialogue after the battle by rapidly tapping X i skipped the dialogue quickly picked the responses and was done , hope that works for you guys 🙂

Same problem here on Xbox One. I am stuck on the same part of the questline and cant get it to get past the first cut scene after meeting Hawke and Stroud. They just freeze and the skip button pops up. I could skip it all but why? The game is designed for decision making and I want to make what seem to be crucial decisions in this quest.Is Bioware even aware of this? I see posts from 2 weeks ago on this issue and still no response!!???? This is game breaking! Fix the **bleep** or give us some sort of..."Hi yes we know or we hear you and this will be fixed asap!"...anything!?...hello!?...seriously respond and fix this major bug.

I'm having the same issue. the entire encounter up to the first battle is broken, then after the first battle i am asked to make a desicion and i can not "skip" or pick an option. Any ideas? I have been trying for a few hours and can not progress my game.

Yea I can't get past this, once I bet the wardens an demons an Stroud says "I think I know where they went" it freezes an I can't do anything. Has anyone figured a way around this?

This is also true for xbox360 version. The quest was really buggy. So disappointing bioware. ☹️

Same issue on the PS4...Guessing this is a bug with the game itself and not specific to which console you're playing on.

Yea im stuck on this quest on ps4. I get to the first line of dialouge outside the keep or whatever with stroud and I get no dialogue wheel. I don't know if I need to do wicked eyes quest first or something. Any suggestions? ??
