Same here. Stopped playing the game for a month, checked it out with the latest patch and game is unplayable with the freezing.
Only solution I have found is to select the frozen character and have them jump. Really annoying, when you lose your melee player it screws the whole game experience. Might have to give up playing again until this is fixed.
Please post any solutions if found!
