Around half the time when I enter a cutscene with dialog, I can't select any dialog from the wheel. Nothing happens at all when I try to select anything with the controller. However I can select spells by pressing L2, which seems pretty strange. I have to restart the game and load the latest save and then sometimes Iit works but other times I have to try a few times. Anyone know what that is all about?
Well, I encountered this problem too in 360. Pressing X or square in your case often did the trick by jumping the dialogues. (But what's the point in doing that in a Bioware game?)... Sadly I encountered a problem with Secret Companion and now my game went completely useless as I can't go beyond a conversation halfway through the game.
I've been running into the same problem. Also becoming somewhat gamebreaking.
I am on ps4 as well.
My first conversation with Cassandra it came to my part to choose a dialogue option. My wheel never popped up and I just stood there staring blankly at her. Eventually the conversation moved on. Minutes later I was talking to Cullen and I clicked on a dialogue option and a codex entry popped up on my screen.
I have noticed a steady increase where someone is talking and my wheel is greyed out. I hop about like a loon trying to get it to load properly until it finally does. I think this happens more if I accidently walk around when someone is talking to me.
