@Colm_E_Kaine What platform? Was it a physical copy or digital? Physical copies, as far as I'm aware, have separate codes for you to claim the DLC on your account online, at least for PC.

@Colm_E_Kaine Was it a brand new or second hand copy? If it was new, it should have had the codes for the DLC in the box/case. If it was secondhand you should take it back, they shouldn't be selling games like this second hand as they're account bound on use.

@Colm_E_Kaine In that case you should probably return it, it is not a good idea to try to buy account bound games second hand. You might want to mention that at the store, too.
Likely whoever sold it to the store got the game of the year edition for the DLCs and already had the base game, so just took the DLC codes for themselves and sold the unused base game.
