- Anonymous11 years agoNo. What would berserk do
Berserk increases damage you do by 10 -30%, but also increases damage done against you by 10x that amount. So if it increases your damage 20%, you take 200% more damage.
Like I said, I don't believe that bug exists where enemy levels are misrepresented, so if you are getting destroyed by enemies 6 levels lower than you and you aren't playing nightmare then you must not fully understand the gear you are wearing and the complexities of the combat system. And you should not be playing nightmare if you don't understand those things but still want to enjoy the experience.
To really have good gear you should be crafting gear specific to your build, with the highest tier materials available. Almost nothing you can buy or find will be better if you are farming materials and searching out schematics.
But if you can be more descriptive of the kinds of enemies you are having trouble with, then maybe we can be more helpful. But the other forums are better for that as they more specifically focus on combat and strategies (both combat and building your character/gear).

It's in the exalted plains?Sorry, you stated you were having the same problem. I assumed completely the same. I never bothered to look at enemy levels, because I don't farm them for experience. I only go out of my way to attack random enemies to collect materials like cloth or leather, so I can't really say what the enemy levels were. It is possible once you move beyond the top range of that enemy type, they default to a certain level. Meaning if an enemy can be level 10-13 and you progress to level 16 (3 levels beyond its top possible level) that the enemy will default to 11. At that point it wouldn't matter if it was level 11, 12, or 13, it would give no XP. So perhaps the programmers coded it to default to level 11 unless you were still earning XP from them, and then more complex coding kicked in to determine if it should be level 11, 12 or 13.
- Anonymous11 years agoThat makes sense. I guess I'll go to other areas so I can gain max xp then come back here. No sense leveling up with quests here and screwing myself in other areas.
I think I'll contact them and find out what the deal with that is. I'll post here if I get anything back.
