If you are unable to sign in, you can choose the option Having trouble accessing your account? on the Sign In page.
Please note that selecting Manage My Account and then Account Security may not always give the option to contact Live Chat support.

I don't know if that there is still a active EA help number in Australia, this thread is 11 years old after all.

You should try to get into a live chat with an adviser over https://help.ea.com/en/.
