Have you gone through any troubleshooting steps, e.g. repairing the game?
If basic troubleshooting yields no results, consider posting a DxDiag file. This often gives a clue of the cause of the crash.

What troubleshooting? How to repair it?
It cannot be my graphics driver, I just got this brand new Cpu it is optimized for gaming, the shop confirmed.
If run a diagnostics how long does it take? Oh well, if i cant then i'll do some other quests sigh
When you right click a game in the EA app, there's an option to repair it. This will verify the validity of your game files and download missing files if necessary. This sometimes helps with crashes.
As for the DxDiag, it takes a few seconds to run. The file it generates will usually have crash reports that point to likely causes.
Oh I see. My version I bought from Steam, so both EA and steam apps will open when i load. So far now seems fine
Should you run into more crashing problems in the future, Steam also has an option to repair files, but they don't call it repair, but "verify integrity of game files."

Ok thank you. So now i managed to do the hakkon trials fine, but their other Guests of the hold side quests don't pop up, I cannot get 5/5 to make them the allies

Today I had problem with dragonage 2, on my xbox one S. I had to do a factory reset recently âšī¸( because entire system froze on the green screen, and it has not sync back with the cloud. It's a bummer coz only on console have I managed to run the dlcs, i have had many saves. With the backward compatiblity.
When i ask the microsoft tech support, said their servers not down... could EA servers be having trouble at this moment? because all along after i reboot at least it can launch to the front menu, but it just got stuck and could not either. Might u know any possible troubleshooting? Microsoft is useless.
I'm a little out of my depth here, because I never owned an Xbox (I'm mainly a PC and Nintendo player), but I would think that Microsoft runs their own cloud service. I could ask around...
Thank you so much! These days my xbox one has been freezing alot too... đŽ I just had to factory reset for 2nd time. the entire system hanged, when i tested youtube and witcher they can run fine. For now i uninstall DA2 first, because maybe some corrupt backup files = = Sad decision i've to make.

Odd, a factory reset should address most issues, unless a corrupted save is being used.
The only other thing I can think of is that an Xbox One is becoming quite an aged system after so many years?
@SofaJockeyUK No mine is not the old Xbox one, its the S white model đ I went to microsoft tech to troubleshoot too, after they helped me refresh my gaming account its better. U have gotten newer console?
At least can see the menu screen, and i can run Mota đ! just that when i want to teleport back home from map it will hang. Yea i factory reset originally coz ubisoft games couldn move too> only now did they mention broken down their end x x
