Re: Mouse Cursor Disappears/Becomes Invisible in Dragon age: Inquistion

Actually all you have to do is close the game completely - open the file "ProfileOptions_profile" in folder "documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Inquisition\Save" - set the value of "GstInput.ForceMouseLook" to 0 (zero) - save the file - reopen game - done!

Tried a bunch of suggestions like changing various mouse settings, switching from aero to basic theme and even pulling suspected mods, but nothing worked. Also I would note, mouse worked in menus and on tactical screen, just not main adventure screen. However, this profile edit trick worked fast and easy. When I took a peek at the file I saw Tactical set to 0 and FreeMouseLook set to 1, I changed it to zero and bang... fixed!. Hope it helps others too, thanks!!!

(PS) In case this doesn't reference the correct post: This is in reply to Permerol's post on editing the Profile Options_Profile file.

Or, in game, simply toggle mouselook off (default keybinding is Z).

Didn't work for me at all. THere is no GstInput in "documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Inquisition\Save" so i can't put anything to zero... why couldn't EA fix this after 6 years with a patch or put an option to solve this via > options/activate mouse cursor/deactivate mouse cursor.... first game in years where i have so many bugs even after years of release and its so sad cause i love the series and its look... i swear to got if Dragon Age 4 is so buggy, with bad camera and so hard to mod i won't buy it.

I am so pissed atm...you litereally have problems and can't find any serious help with more options even after so many years... and what you find are threads like this where some guy thinks he knows the 100% answer to a problem which obviously can't solve it for everyone!
