Re: Weird body gap in cutscenes (PC)

Can you post what gear you are wearing, and what mods are in it? If you can remember if you were wearing the same stuff back when doing the Redcliffe quest, that'd be great too.

  • Sure thing! I'll just list everything she was wearing prior to those specific cutscenes. If it matters, helmets were turned off for both of these.

    --Redcliffe--

    Helmet: Fire Resistance Cowl

    Armor: Sturdy Hunter Coat (crafted)

    Arms: Hunter Coat Arms

    Legs: none

    Weapon: Bane of Red Crossing

    Belt: Potions Belt

    Amulet: Amulet of Cunning

    Ring: Enhanced Deathblow Ring

    Ring: Enhanced Twin Fangs Ring

    --Fade/Fear demon--
Helmet: Fire Resistance Cowl (same as before)
Armor: Sturdy Hunter Coat (crafted, same as before)
Arms: Hunter Coat Arms (same as before)
    Legs: Scout Coat Legs (crafted)
    Weapon: Bow of Cleansing Fire

    Belt: Enhanced Belt of Focus
    Amulet: Superb Amulet of Willpower
    Ring: Superb Ring of Life-Drain
    Ring: Ring of Barrier Penetration

    Perfect, thanks.

Certain crafted arm mods don't play nice for elves, this sounds like it's related. Could you PM me a copy of a save file where this is happening, ideally just before the cutscene?

Saves are the timestamped .DAS files found at My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Inquisition\Save

    Thanks.

  • Poor elves. :catsad:

The arm mods I had on were not crafted, though - only the leg mods. I can vaguely remember having the same problem while wearing a different armor piece... I'll post again if I see it happen, and when.

Thanks for the fast response! I hope it gets sorted out eventually with a patch. If you need any more additional info, let me know. 🙂

EDIT: Ah sure let me get on that.
