I am at the point in this quest where I am supposed to track down Servis in the Western Approaches (Inside Echoback Fort), and am right on top of the quest marker, but Servis is nowhere to be seen. I cannot advance this quest.
This looks like a bug!
I spent an hour searching for him. No luck. It's driving me crazy not being able to complete this quest.
So...I tried going back to Coracavus (the cave we come from, I don't know if my version of the game has a different language) and so they respawn while Varric and everyone else say that we win.
There are always two archer(or do you say marksman?) and this guy who doesn't have the name Servis with around 6000 hp, level 15 with a big axe.
Of course he keep disappearing giving me item after me o my companion kill him.
When I faced the first time I war already a little more powerfoul of him so peheraps I was thinking that maybe we kill him too fast and so he find himself death before he can surrender...So I tried to disingage when he have few hp but he simply stop moving for a while before putting a guard really high..
My problem is that I can't disingage when he has less than 300 hp... because even if I try my companions forcefully attack him all the time... and when they don't I accindentally kill him.
in the end it feel like he was made based on a normal enemy and so like a normal enemy like a Giant when killed disappear...
Just to know..Am I the only one who is searching a way around it?
Am I the only one who isn't sure if eventually would take a 2-3 giga patch?
It would be nice to get some form of acknowledgement. At least a "Hello, we're working on this/it's on the fix list."
OP here. I tried saving and reloading my game at the Echoback Fort, then tried going up the stairs to search for him. No luck. Servis is nowhere to be found anywhere in the fortress. This is getting annoying.
I've wasted an hour of my life looking for this guy.
Please fix!
I actually saw a video and he look like a mage to me and has is own name, he is thing and with a stuff..
He is near one of the marksman, the one on the righ from where you enter.
I can only guess that the minions of my pg sent him in the rock or something like that because it will be too strange that he didn't even appear
