It's one of those posts again! I got Dragon Age II years ago somehow (my old Origin app had an activation date of 2015 - apparently this was from the Humble Origin Bundle 2?), and I just noticed that I never got the DLCs that were given away, my copy of the game says it's the Standard Edition (see attached photos) and there is no way for me to get the missing DLCs without buying the game again. I just spent the past day trying to figure out what to do but nothing I found online seems to have worked. I have: Cleared my EA app cache, logged out and in again; Downloaded the free DLC add-ons from https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/dlc-for-classic-games/#dragonage/ and installed them (they show up as "Unauthorized" in the game); Logged in to the Dragon Age keep to unlock the content manually there; Logged in to my EA account via the game; Synced the accounts between the keep and my computer manually several times; Uninstalled and reinstalled the game; Deleted the contents of the licenses folder; Cleared all my characters at the Dragon Age keep. Nothing seems to work. The game insists that I have to buy it again to get the DLC content. So what can I do? Do I have to buy the game again?

I expect they are having the same issue as the rest of us; with their copy of DA2 being listed as the "standard edition" rather than "ultimate edition", and therefore giving only the option of installing the Black Emporium when they go to install the game. I have deleted and reinstalled DA2 on two different machines on a number of ocassions, and it is always listed as only the "standard edition", with no option for any DLCs other than the BE to be installed.Are you able to see our accounts/libraries? If so, does DA2 look different in our libraries than if you look at it in your library? Mine is quite clearly different to my other BioWare games where I do have all the DLC, as those games say that I have a number of add-ons when you look at them in the Library, but DA2 does not. I have attached a screenshot showing what I mean - DA Inquisition says I have 12 add-ons, and DA2 doesn't say I have any at all. This is the case when the game is not installed as well - it sits next to DAO and DAI both of which say I have X number of add-ons, with that space simply blank beneath DA2.Is there no way to simply upgrade our Standard Editions of DA2 to the Ultimate Edition? Even through some sort of coupon code that could be entered at check-out so we can simply "buy" the Ultimate Edition again? I know it does not answer the question of what happened in the first place, but it would at least let us play the DLC in the meantime. My gaming budget is limited, so I am not willing to pay full price for the Ultimate Edition again just to access the DLC when I already own a copy of the game.As an aside - you can also see the other issue I am having where the Black Emporium simply will not download either. It does that every time I go to install the game, with the download always failing. This seems to be an issue with some DLCs in other games in the EA app for some other folk too. The Help chat team has never been able to resolve it for me, and other forum threads here indicate that it is an ongoing issue for other users in different games too. Given that it happens irrespective of which machine or wifi network I am on when I try to download it, I suspect this is a weird account issue too, where the system is not sure whether I should be able to download it or not. I am hoping that if my Standard Edition becomes the Ultimate Edition with all the DLC it would solve this issue too.

@Xeracross The DLCs free by now, there is no need to buy them separately anymore. What shows up under "Manage add-ons" for you? (Click the dot menu on the DA2 cover in your library.)

@SerosterThe web page that allows you to download the DLC is for Steam, not the EA app. Considering you mentioned you registered it with Origin/EA app it didn't seem pertinent to mention this.The DLC being made free includes those who had their copy registered on the EA app when the DLC were made free, and these DLC should have been made available in this app. I have Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2, and Mass Effect 2 on my account, of those three games my account received the DLC for Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2, but not for Dragon Age 2.Your issue is the same as everyone else's in this thread: the DLC weren't delivered to your account when they should have been, for whatever reason.

But they're not IN the manage add-ons section. That's the problem here. Those of us who bought the game on Origin (and maybe EA) cannot access the add-ons that we've bought.

There is a solution: People have gotten their DLC by... buying the game again. Which we shouldn't even have to do. Why not just grant people without the DLC a free copy?

Having exactly the same issue. Can only download the Black Emporium. Kind of sucks that it's been almost a year, the problem has been identified, and nothing's being done to fix it.

Ugh, these new forums suck. Anyway. Three days ago, I started up the EA client to see if anything had changed... and my library showed me this error.
I have NEVER used an Epic account. I don't use that platform. The only account I have tied to my profile is my Steam account (for the games I have purchased there.) So why am I getting this error? It's literally saying "Hey you don't have access to any Dragon Age II DLC"... which I never even had access to since the platform never gave them to me anyway. My Dragon Age II page still says I only have access to one DLC.
So is this ever going to get fixed? Or do I have to ask support to just grant me a copy so I can have my DLC since buying the game again will fix it?

@kekada if you purchased the collection or individual DLCs on Origin and no longer have access to them you should contact EA support. They can confirm your purchase history and reinstate these DLCs.

The current issue that this post is about is anyone who purchased Dragon Age (and other games) without all/some of the DLC before EA credited DLC to all owners of the game at that time. Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and a few other games are all affected by this. They're apparently working on it.

@Yurt_The_Chief All of the DLCs for the games are free regardless of whether buying it through Steam or the EA app. In the EA app, you would download it all or claim it all through the manage ad-ons.

In Steam, you typically have to install each one from the EA Help site itself, which can cause issues depending on how you install your games.

AFAIK this issue only affects those of us who bought Dragon Age II in a very specific way.
In my case it was the Humble Origin Bundle. I -did- get the DLC for other games, just not for this one.
