Dragon age veilguard hair colour bug
Playing on Xbox Series X. Selected medium blonde hair colour in character creator. It looks fine in cutscenes but reverts to black in gameplay. I have reloaded earlier saves, restarted the whole game...

Still happening on Series X after patch. Light hair looks almost black during gameplay. Only looks the right color in cutscenes and in CC.
I'm getting it on Tash since the last patch where she is bright white all the time now no matter what hair setting or graphics settings I play with.

In Patch 4, there were a couple of updates to hair but I see that some players are saying its happening on other characters in the game.
- Fixed an issue with Rook’s face and hair changing drastically when a save is loaded.
- Fixed an issue with certain longer hairstyles that floated above Rook’s chest and shoulders.
If you can, make sure the game is updated and test it out in the Mirror to see if other hair colors and styles still have the issue.
I just got Veilguard in December did the software update and during my first playthrough with silver-white hair it definitely was black during sunlight areas. I have also noticed this with Harding as well with my second playthrough Rook (current) who I have with bright red hair that goes more maroon/scarlet in sunlight and shadow so it definitely is still a coding problem with lighting.

@wingkey108 Hey, so that has been noted a few times. Ive seen similar just randomly walking around places or a cu-scene. It's one of those issues that would have to be patched, which may not happen as it is a small detail, but I have sent it to the team anyways a few times. They are aware of it.
