I realize why the big character heads look odd

I'm an artist and I kept thinking about how much people are complaining about the oversized character heads and this morning I finally realized why- they look like kid bodies! The proportions of the humans and elves structurally resemble that of children...large heads, oversized eyes, wide shoulders and narrow hips. What's funny is that Solas' design doesn't look like that. He's relatively proportional. It does very from character to character of course and some are worse than others.  I made my character as tall as I could to see if it would help but it didn't affect the proportions- besides she didn't really get much taller even when I maxed out the bar. Everyone looks short, so the childlike proportions are compounded.  I know they were trying to go for a very stylized look in DAVG, but still.

Even in DAI elves were shorter than humans, humans were shorter than Qunari. You can customize the shoulders and make them wider as you see fit but consider how the armor will look on them. Also elves were suppose to be agile, nimble, fragile (never use an elf as tank) and buffed constitution won't fit that description.

My elf is a stall as I could make it and still so small compared to Qunari. On the other hand, it will be weird to have all characters at same height.

    Base model without armor:

Really doesn't look like a child.

It actually does resemble a child. With the muscles it reminds of how female gymnasts look. They look like bulky children because their bodies develop slower due to the intense nature of their training. I think the "bobble heads" compound the issue, though it's inconsistent from character to character.  Frankly I wish the heads were appropriately sized. It would help a lot.
