Is there an option to turn off...

Is there an option to turn off passive abilities on weapons and characters? After a battle, I noticed that my character sometimes has lights bouncing around him, but I find it rather distracting. Is there a way to remove this and only this? I tried turning abilities to off/never, and it turned off the hud display.

Second, the space bar reminder every time you move the mouse that says "skip" is distracting. I understand. After 40 hours of playing, I know that the space bar is skipped, but it keeps coming up in every cinematic conversation. Is there a way to obliterate this? Even the slight micro-adjustment of my mouse and the prompt come up every time.

Thank you, and happy gaming!

I was hopping for this game all this to be part of hints with the option to be turned on/off. No luck. It is mandatory for modern games to have a constant reminder of what key to press and I understand why but, still, kind of annoying.

  • Modern game standard. I tried for one game to remove the text and keyboard shortcut frame and I traced the interface down to game's exe  file and so I gave up. I fell like treated as an idiot which needs constant reminder which key to press to jump or what happens if I use action key while focusing an NPC in non combat area (spoiler: talk to).

Eventually I sacrificed one mouse button to set up on/off GUI via reshade so I can enjoy the cut scenes without that notification. The downside is that all GUI is disable including the subtitles. Kind of weird especially when the dialog line have to be selected (and nothing shows on the screen).
