Right now there no patch for that, not surprising considering the game is out for two days.
You could use the Keyboard Manager utility of Microsoft as a workaround.
You also could map WASD to the numpad keys or other keys on the right hand side of your keyboard.

Thanks for replying to my question, I know this game is only a couple of days old but this issue with remapping to use cursor keys, as other players have said, should have been addressed prior to launch during testing. Almost 90% of games released these days have this basic function.
I had tried to use Keyboard Manager Utility but still unable to use keys that are comfortable to me, that's another reason I didn't use the numeric keyboard. I am a big Bioware fan and have been for many years, I don't want to degrade my experience with this latest instalment of Dragon Age by making do. Also I am a very old dog with computer games so using different keys that I'm not used to wont work, the ancient adage of 'old dogs and new tricks'.
I'll wait for a while as someone did post that a ticket has been submitted, and there does seem to be a lot with the same problem. So again, many thanks for your suggestions, keep gaming!
That is UNACCEPTABLE, they did it in the 00's so why is it that 24 years later they CAN'T do that on day 0?
