More Character Slots for Consoles

I really hope they fix this. 100 saves is overkill, 3 characters is not enough 

Jumping in here to also support this!!! I hit 3 characters pretty quickly on PS5 and was surprised and then pretty annoyed when I was told by the game itself there’s a limit to how many characters I can have! I plan to do multiple playthroughs and have a LOT of characters (I know that’s not everyone’s experience with the series, but I am one of those people who do this), and only having three on console (especially one that I use specifically for pretty high performance gameplay graphics like the PS5) is really, frankly, a stupid limitation. Really comes off as saying “yeah you can play the game but also only this much and never make any other characters unless you delete previous ones.” No, thanks.

Adding in - while it is nice to have the new Character Creator (so you can create a lot of characters) it doesn't solve the overall problem of wanting multiple different character saves.

It does seem like weird thing to compared to all previous games. Like it been stated you have multiple factions, races and gender options, and romance choices but it seems like a terrible constraint to put a game when all the all the other game haven't done this, and it discourages you from wanting to playthrough again if you have to delete your saves. There are options on consoles for expanded storage.

They better patch this. This is the dumbest possible thing they did when there are so many backgrounds, 4 races, and all these romance options. Like asking me which of my kids to delete. Pisses me off!

I don't want to create a new topic on the subject, so I'll just leave a message on existing threads to show my support, hoping the developers take this into consideration. We are asking you to remove the limit of creating 3 characters on consoles. There are too many possibilities to explore, you need to give us the possibility to create different paths and stories. We can't let go our old characters for a new one, but we want to play more. There was never such a limit with the previous DA games. We had 100 save slots and we could manage them as we wanted. We want the same freedom with The Veilguard too. Please.

Feels to me like they don't care! (About this or the game in general.) And if they don't, I won't.
I was excited to make a new character as soon as they added more slots. But at this point I’m verry done with this game.

They addressed it on Reddit, but in my opinion, it was not a great reason.

"This is something we've investigated, but because this touches our save file architecture there are no plans at this time to increase the limit." (Source)

Even if it's difficult to change post-release, it feels like bad planning to not have a higher limit in the first place. I believe further updates of the game are highly unlikely due to the massive downsizing of the studio earlier this year.

• Yeah, I don't count on it too, because of it and focus on Mass Effect now, which is surely Bioware last chance of survival :( , at least there's a way to save our Rooks, idk if much console players knows about it, using the independant character creator, we can create 12 Rooks, then get them on the full game, well still have the 3 playthroughs limit and have to erase one once limit reached but the Rook erased will be safe.
