Re: Dragon Age: The Veilguard unavailable in my region

I hope you're doing well!

I’m reaching out as a huge fan of Dragon Age, and I was so excited to see Dragon Age: The Veilguard available on Steam here in the UAE. But then, to my surprise, it was suddenly removed, and I can’t help but feel a little heartbroken.

The Dragon Age world is one that I've always connected with, and this new game was something I had been really looking forward to. I know I'm not alone there's a passionate gaming community here that was just as thrilled to dive into this adventure.

It would mean so much to me, and to many others here, if The Veilguard could be made available in the UAE. If there’s any way to make this happen, or even just an update on the situation, I’d really appreciate it.

Thank you so much for your time and understanding I know these things can be complicated, but I just had to express how much this game means to us. Hope to hear back from you soon!

    Unfortunately support is completely ignoring us. The Turkey thread has 200 comments and no reply from bioware. Most likely they will merge your thread there as well and give no reply at all.

    Hello.

    I know this issue has been resolved for Turkish and Indian regions, but is the pre-order ban going to be lifted off for other MENA countries like Saudi Arabia and UAE? I really don't want to miss the pre-order bonus for the game ☹️

    I know this might seem crazy but people in MENA countries can be tolerant with LGBTQ content (supportive even, including me) if this is the case for the ban, I sincerely hope the pre-order ban on steam and EA app gets lifted.

    Games with LGBTQ-Friendly themes are not banned in the country as far as I am aware. I've bought both Baldur's gate 3 (since early access) and Cyberpunk 2077 with no issues. I really hope this gets resolved for MENA regions specifically Saudi Arabia since It's where I currently live.

    Much love to the devs, I have been waiting for this game since 2014, where unfortunately I had to buy Inquisition through a third-party seller since it was banned as well... I hope you take in mind your MENA fans :c

    The Price of the game is the same with the US price, will this issue be fixed?

    Gamers are literally asking to pay them but they're not willing to sell the game in these regions for whatever reason

    In UAE its still not available. And there are no comments about it from EA. Is it banned or pricing problems?

    Probably a rating problem. Same thing happened with Dragons Dogma 2. UAE has their own rating system to my understanding and takes longer to release. That being said, other games seem to have no issues with ratings. Only EA can advise.

    @EA_Illium Also unavailable in Kuwait. The only thing that is available on Steam is the Deluxe Edition Upgrade.
