10 Character Limit? On a PC game? What?

I have just reached the 10 character limit. On the PC version of the game. This is the most ridiculously inane decision I have ever seen on a video game, ever. What could possibly have possessed you to decide to do this? I was baffled when I saw that there was a 100 saves limit per character, but to only allow us to make 10 characters is unfathomably bewildering. I understand the decision when it comes to consoles, but I have a PC with like 5 TB of storage, I think I could afford to be able to make a few more characters!

This is such a nonsensical limit to impose that I can only assume that it's a bug, because nobody in their right mind could have thought that this was a good idea.
