The Game is Unplayable

I have been very busy this year when i finally found time to actually play Veilguard i launched the game only to find it unplayable.  Immediately upon launch the game is slow, laggy and stuttering from main page to the actual game my computer is up to date and no settings changes  have helped.

My Specs:

Ryzen 7 9800X3D

Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super

Please add a DxDiag to your next reply.

A DxDiag is an overview of your PCs technical features and recent software errors.
There is no personal info in it except for the “Machine name” in the second row. (You might delete the “Machine name” line if you wish too.)

    How to create a DxDiag:

    1. Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time to open the Run dialog box.
    2. Copy and paste or type "DxDiag" (Without the quotes) into the new field. > ENTER
    3. Wait until the green bar is gone > Click on "Save all information"
    4. Save the file to your desktop.
    5. Attach the DxDiag file to your reply (paper clip symbol)
  • I got a tad impatient after some searching i found this Youtube video that had some other troubleshooting i hadn't tried i can now at least run the game but only in windowed mode if anyone knows how to fix it for full screen i would appreciate it.

Your problem sounds like a shader cache problem. (in game or in the driver.)
This is also mentioned in the Video, did you tried that advice too?

There are also some "LiveKernelEvent" errors related to the graphic system in your DxDiag.

    1.  Follow this manual to the letter to clean uninstall all NVIDIA/AMD graphic driver components.
    2. IMPORTANT: if you use a Pin to log into Windows 11 don't use DDU in safe mode!
Use it in your normal Windows session.
    3. Install the graphics driver > Go online.
    1. Test.
