Accessibility Features Not Working

The glint ping sfx does not work in some areas, notably Arlathan Forest during exploration. I have stood in front of multiple things that should receive the sound ping and it does not work. It just simply does nothing. This seems to be a fairly urgent issue that needs to be resolved. Can I request also that the sounds not sound so incredibly similar for different category of items, they're not super obvious and you haven't explained what the different sounds mean. The high pitch bell ping seems to apply to all interactables. But the other sounds aren't very obvious at all. Please resolve asap. The recent update clearly didn't fix this urgent issue!!!! This is on ps5. I will also note the only way that this feature works is if you use the settings "pulse-short" if doesn't work on a "pulse-long" which is absolutely wild to me. Please fix!!!. Im really tired of games adding amazing features for them to not work fully or stop working at points where they are crucial.

  • I have the same issue on PC. It used to work for me in most areas (on Pulse-Long), but on subsequent playthroughs, there is no glint ping on Pulse-Long (I should try Pulse-Short next time I play). I do get combat cues, however (just the "lock on" audio cue).

This report is also accurate in that the "interactable object" ping (like for ladders) drowns out the "lootable object" ping (like for bags of gold or little chests). It drives me crazy how loud the interactable sound is in comparison. I would want it to be the other way around, as in, I'd rather hear where my loot is rather than where the ladders are (especially since the ladders never disappear, while the loot will disappear once looted).
