Companion bug—Emmrich cutscenes/quests don’t trigger

Immediately after recruiting Emmrich and before recruiting Taash, I hung around the necropolis for a while. Bad idea—Even Emmrich’s intro cutscene at the lighthouse doesn’t trigger. I can’t give him ...

Have you done the main story quest Something Wrong? Doing that triggered Emmrich's quest to pop up for me :)
