Title screen, Varric doing his monologue and character creation all play sound with no problem but the second I got to the first cutscene with my rook and then into Mintrathous the sound is constantly crackling and cutting out.
Have tried every possible audio setting in game and updated drivers.
(On windows 10)
Same problem on windows 11 , i have crackling sound when compagnons speak and now when i fight i have this problem too its just .... not normal

I'm having exactly the same issue. Windows 10 Pro. Ambient sounds cutting in and out. I've turned off audio enhancements, tried different jacks and headphones, checked that sound was on stereo and headphones. I'm at a loss.
I'm having this issue as well. Tried every audio setting in game and I'm still getting it. It's making the game unplayable. Has anyone found a fix?
Same issue, Windows 10 and Realtek audio. Turning of audio enhancements (spatial sound etc) seems to have fixed it somewhat. Still happens when the game is loading in assets in the background in cutscenes and new areas it appears.
