Community ManagerThanks for the image. This one is hard because it can be due to quite a few issues. The most common ones are Nvidia files. Even if you you, like me have AMD, the game itself still uses Nvidia files.
Check out this link here. It's a different game and the same error, but hopefully, the steps work.
I tried the suggestion in the link to Run as Administrator (selected through the .exe compatibility properties so it stays that way) and it's been running pretty okay. Had a fairly long play session today and got through all of post-choice/Start of Act II Minrathous (no more side quests available, including the Pinnacle of Its Kind), the first revenant, and most of the initial Hossburg area (only the second champion, Pinnacle of Its Kind, and general exploring/area unlocks left) without crashing, or even stuttering.
In shorter sessions I had some stuttering, but when I checked Task Manager to see what was taking resources, "Service Host: SysMain" was taking a lot of them. I get the feeling something was trying to update despite having all settings I can find set to "when system is not in use".
Started playing today and crashed about 10 minutes in. Was about 2/3rds of the way through the fight with the Champion behind the Manor when the game hung for about 2 seconds then crashed. No errors popped up, though the AMD Crash Reporter did, and both Veilguard and the EA App had to be closed through Task Manager.
Now, I was about halfway through using the Reeling Bolt ability and had managed to get partially stuck between stairs, the cliffside, and a light source (brazier?) before I used that ability, so not sure if that has anything to do with anything.
