Default to Default Rook on Saves - UNACCEPTABLE

I've seen this posted a lot but I'm gonna post it again. Every time I save and then exit, EVERY TIME, my Rook goes to a default model of Rook. Unless I save in the Lighthouse where I can immediately fix it it means I have to carry out whatever mission I'm doing as a default Rook.

This is an issue with so many layers. 1. It's bloody annoying, we spent hours in CC for a reason. 2. It's ableist - some people can't get through a whole mission without stopping and saving, some people have limited play time, and you're basically saying if you can't get through an entire mission without stopping you don't deserve to have the Rook you spent hours to make. 3. ENDGAME: you literally cannot do endgame unless you have four or five hours of solid playtime available to you. This is a game breaking bug. Please fix it.
