I got a screenshot, my directx error message is slightly different, game crashes after a few minutes each time within character creation.
I am so frustrated with this. If you find out the fix let me know please!
I get the same error as soon as I click continue in character creation, not even started the game yet :(
Slightly glad it isn't just me. I was worried my laptop was on its way out. Crazy because it runs Baldur's Gate 3 on the highest setting but cannot cope with medium setting on Veilguard?
Yep, same exact scenario. I have all the settings on the lowest possible and I can't exit character creator without my game crashing completely with a GPU directx error above. And yet I can play BG3 with high settings. I really hope there is a patch soon or something so I can see the game I paid for

Arani101 Your GPU *just* meets the minimum requirements, which I suspect might be a bit generous (seeing people have issues even with the recommended GPU), your CPU is also cutting it close. You're likely to encounter issues constantly with a game like this, unfortunately, and you'll need to have everything turned off or to the lowest setting.
In short, it's going to be hard to figure out if there's another issue, because your PC is going to have a lot of trouble trying to run this game. Be sure to keep an eye on your temps. Try a clean install of your GPU drivers.I get the same error as well. All drivers have been updated. GPU is RTX3080
