2026 request for update: Was this issue ameliorated in some way, shape, or form (e.g., a fix, or providing deluxe edition copies on Steam for those impacted since Steam appears to be unaffected, or partial refunds, or EA app store credit, or gratis EA Play Pro for a limited time period, etc.) for the people who encountered it?
In short, was something done about this?

Nope zero response, zero fix, zero compensation/partial refund. Shocking really considering the issue is their end!

Yeah as Rubyrue791 said they never fixed this issue. Doesn't help that EA abandoned DA after DAV so we will never get to see this issue fixed ever. All we can rely on are mods at this point.

Rubyrue791 & wexxam Out of curiosity, have you requested your account data? If not, go to https://myaccount.ea.com/am/ui/security-privacy, select "Download your EA data". It may take a day or so after a request to get a download link for your data, and the download link is valid for 7 days.
The ZIP archive you download will contain an HTML file and a JSON file. If you open the HTML file with a web browser, go to the "Entitlements" section, and expand it. 1) What all is listed for Dragon Age: The Veilguard? The DATV entries will likely not be grouped together, but you can press CTRL + F on your keyboard to search the HTML file, and type DRAGON AGE: THE VEILGUARD to find all occurrences. 2) Is the DATV content listed as ACTIVE or DISABLED? [Rubyrue791 You had mentioned you also own the game on Steam (in addition to EA app); you can disregard the STEAM Entitlement_Plaftorm stuff for DATV, just look at the PCWIN (i.e., EA app) Entitlement_Platform content for DATV, since that is the digital distribution platform with which you are encountering this issue.]
You could also look at the "Invoices" section of the HTML file, and for each DATV item present in the "Invoices" section, verify that the Item_Name in the "Invoices" section exactly matches the Entitlement_Name listed in the "Entitlements" section, and that the Date_Settled time in the "Invoices" section matches the Entitlement_Begin_Date in the "Entitlements" section.
For DATV deluxe edition preorders, in the "Entitlements" section, you should have three entries: 1) DATV deluxe preorder bundle, 2) DATV preorder content, and 3) DATV deluxe upgrade (and these should be ACTIVE).
For DATV deluxe edition preorders, in the "Invoices" section, you should have an entry for the DATV deluxe preorder bundle.
Additionally, in the "Entitlements" and "Invoices" sections, you may also have entries for the DATV character creator demo and/or DATV promo offer, if you redeemed the DATV Character Creator and/or Rook's Weapons Appearance Offer.

So I've got my data and this is what comes up for DAV, it does look like the deluxe content is disabled. I do have entries in the invoices section to show I have purchased it, so how do I get it activated?
Can I also just say thank you Cantiras, you have been way more helpful than anyone at EA!!!!!

This is actually quite telling and I'm assuming mine is going to look very similar. I will also post my results once I get them.
